Telsey + Company YouTube Project

We know it can be hard to get your foot in the door, so we’re using YouTube to make that first step a little easier. We are creating a video playlist to organize videos of and introduce ourselves to new talent.  The playlist will be kept private until further notice and will only be used internally.

We have two basic ground rules to keep it fair and make sure everyone gets a chance to be seen:

1. Please limit yourself to sending only one video. We know many people have YouTube channels of their own, and if your YouTube channel is linked to the video you send us, there’s a good chance we’ll end up there on our own - no need to send us all of your videos.

2. Please limit your video to 3 minutes or less. Again, this only pertains to the video you're sending to us – videos on your own channel can be as long as you'd like to make them. The video you send us is just meant to work as an introduction and a brief showcase – if a specific project comes along that we’d like to call you in for, we’ll be able to see more of you at an audition.

These rules are in place to help us ensure that we have time to look at every video that gets sent to us and that everyone gets a chance for their work to be seen. Aside from those rules, you are welcome to send us a video of you doing whatever you feel you do best - singing a song, performing a monologue or scene, etc.

These videos are a great way for you to generally introduce yourself to our office, but if there is a specific project or role you'd like to be considered for, please put that project/role name in the description section of your video so we can find it when we search our YouTube playlist (for example – Please consider me for the role of LEAD GUY in NEW MUSICAL PROJECT).

To send us a video, simply fill out the form on the next page. You will receive an automatic email response to let you know that we have received your link.

We will then add that video to a private playlist on our private channel. Please do not call to check if your video has been received.  Once you’ve received our email response, you’re all set!

We know it can be challenging to make that first step, but hope this will help make it a little easier for you to keep trying.
